Combined Federal Campaign

Be a Star In Someone's Life and Give Generously!

CFCNCA's Mission

The mission of the Combined Federal Campaign is to promote and support philanthropy through an employee-focused, cost-efficient, and effective program in providing all federal employees the opportunity to improve their quality of life. The CFC is the only nationally authorized workplace giving drive for employees in the Federal workplace to give to charitable organizations.

Combined Federal Campaign is the world’s largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign, with more than 300 CFC campaigns nationwide and internationally to help raise millions of dollars each year. Pledges made by Federal civilian, postal and military donors during the campaign season (September 1st to December 15th) support eligible non–profit organizations, like Maryland Community Connection, that provide health and human service benefits throughout Maryland.

Reasons to Give

1st Reason

With your funding support, we can improve the quality of our programs and services for individuals with disabilities and provide increased access and opportunities for these individuals to build strong, sustainable communities.

2nd Reason

We need your help to assist individuals with developmental disabilities. Securing resources to meet the needs of people with developmental disabilities is increasingly difficult. Your generosity helps to ensure that Maryland Community Connection will be there for individuals who want to achieve their dreams of independence.

3rd Reason

As a non-profit agency, Maryland Community Connection cannot achieve greatness without the support of friends. Contributing to CFC and Maryland Community Connection is truly a gift for the future of individuals with developmental disabilities. Your gift of vision, made because you value the importance of the services that Maryland Community Connection provides, will ensure the agency’s continued growth and success.

4th Reason

On any given day in Prince George’s County, about 1,000 people with developmental disabilities need services. The number of individuals with developmental disabilities needing services increases daily, but they have been turned away because of a lack of services or funding. As a donor, you can help us as we face the challenge of local, state, and federal government reductions in funding and human services. Your tax-deductible contributions mean Maryland Community Connection and the CFC can extend its reach to vulnerable members of our communities.

The most common donation method is filling out the traditional paper pledge card and having the amount you choose deducted from each paycheck. You may also use the pledge card to donate by check or cash. You can visit the CFCNCA website to help in the pledge process, and in departments or agencies that are part of the CFC-e ™ program, you’ll be able to print your pledge card online.
